*Vendor Quick Start Guide

Introduction:

As per the 21f law, third-party providers are prohibited from presenting their own online courses via Michigan's Online Course Catalog. Nonetheless, Michigan's public school districts are permitted to offer online courses that utilize one or more third-party providers for online content and/or instruction. To enlist a vendor to oversee their company's course syllabi information in the statewide catalog of online courses, the following steps should be followed.

Details:

To register as a third-party provider for Michigan's Online Course Catalog, vendors who have not done so previously must follow the Registration process. Upon successful registration, a Michigan Virtual representative will verify their identity and create an account within the system. Once the process is complete, the vendor's organization will be issued with a unique provider code required by district personnel to import a third-party course syllabus. It is crucial to note that it is the third-party provider's responsibility to supply districts with this code if they wish to have their syllabi used by educating districts.

After registering and successfully logging into Michigan's Online Course Catalog, vendors can proceed to add their Third-Party Syllabi and complete course reviews.
