Access Digital Badge

Intended Audience: Educators


Upon the successful completion of a micro-credential learning experience on the Michigan Virtual Professional Learning Portal (PLP), you will receive a digital badge through Badgr, which can be accessed and shared using the instructions provided below.


After successfully completing a micro-credential learning experience, you will receive an email from "[email protected]" congratulating you on earning a badge. This email serves as an indication of whether Badgr has linked your badge to your account.

If the colored button on the email reads "Go to Account", select it and use your account information to sign in.
Email content when earning a badge with a connected Badgr account. However, if the button reads "Create Account", it means that Badgr has not yet connected your badge with an account. If you already have a account, please ensure that the email address you used for the PLP is verified on your Badgr account by checking the Verified Email Addresses.

If you don't have a Badgr account, you can create one before proceeding. Once you're in your digital Backpack, you will see all the badges you have earned.

Once a badge appears in your Backpack, you can tap Share to obtain a link, post to social media, or embed the badge.
Badge is shown with an arrow pointing to the Share option. Below the badge shows two screens, one screen is the link options and the other is to the social options.
