Diagnostic Tests

Watch the Video

  1. To access the diagnostic tests in EdReady, tap on the "Go to Goal" button below the corresponding goal. A dialog box will appear, providing instructions to complete a diagnostic test to assess your knowledge of the skills covered in that specific goal.
  2. Click "Start Test Now" to begin. It is important to note that if you have already taken the diagnostic tests for a particular goal, these steps will allow you to proceed directly to your study path. The diagnostic tests are not timed, and you may leave at any time by clicking the "save and close" link.
  3. When you return to EdReady, you will be taken to the last question you accessed. To create a more accurate individualized study path, we recommend skipping a question if you are uncertain of the answer.
  4. Once you have completed the diagnostic test, tap "View Results" to access your personalized study path.

Study Path

  1. To access the study path, tap "Go to Goal" from the Dashboard. The purple circle displays the student's scores. Each topic has a color-coded mastery status icon.
    • If a topic appears clear, it is either untested or not covered by the diagnostic.
    • A red highlighted topic indicates that the student is not ready and needs to master the materials for that skill or topic.
    • A yellow highlighted topic indicates that the student has some knowledge of the material, but has not yet mastered all concepts.
    • Teal bordered topics indicate that the student has mastered all the concepts they were tested on, but has not been tested on all topics yet.
    • Topics highlighted in teal indicate that the student has mastered all included concepts.
  2. To begin studying the materials in each unit, tap "View Study Plan". The student’s target score is now displayed next to their current score.
  3. To study resources, tap Learn. It is recommended that students review all materials in each available topic. When students feel confident with the course material, they should tap the TEST button to assess their knowledge. If they achieve mastery level, the topic will be removed from their study path and shown on the right side of the page.

Help

If you need help with EdReady, the steps you need to take depend on how you purchased the program.

  • If you bought it through your child's school, and you're experiencing issues with payment or missing goal keys, the first point of contact is the school. For other issues like problems with creating an account, logging in, completing courses, or continuing through goal keys, you can reach out to the Customer Care Center. And, if you're facing technical problems related to the website alone, you can contact EdReady help on the NROC Website
  • On the other hand, if you bought EdReady through the Michigan Virtual SLP, contact the Customer Care Center for issues like problems with goal keys, account creation, course completion, or continuation through goal keys. And, if you encounter technical problems related to the website alone, you can contact EdReady help on the NROC Website.
