About
To verify course completion in the Professional Learning Portal (PLP), school administrators can guide their staff to create a public link for sharing their course completion certificates. This procedure explains how to generate a URL for a certificate of completion, view the page, and revoke access to the link when necessary.

Generate a Public URL for Certificate of Completion
Learners have the option to create a public link for their certificate of completion, allowing them to easily share their achievement with others online.
- First, locate the course within the "Completed Courses" section, tap the title and then select Go to Course.
- Next, tap the Certificate tab, locate the certificate that should be made public and then tap the Share link.
- At this point, learners will see the "Share My Award" pop-up. Tap the More Info link to review the information.
- Next, tap Create Link and then click on Copy Link to copy the URL.
- Finally, tap the Close button to exit the pop-up. At this point, the certificate will display a globe icon on the lower right corner to indicate it is shared publicly.
View the Certificate & Copy the New URL
Generating a public link creates a page displaying the learner's award details. This link can be shared through email, social media, and other platforms. The link will remain active as long as the issuer maintains the site.
- First, paste the URL into a browser's address bar.
- Next, the page will be redirected and the link in the address bar will be updated. To ensure optimal sharing of your public URL, it is advisable to utilize this updated link.
- Finally, distribute the URL to the appropriate parties.
Keeping Records
For record keeping, it is recommended that School Administrators take a screenshot from the URL sent to capture the information that is generated. Please note that learners have the ability to remove the public URL at any time, which will render the link inactive.
Remove Public URL for Certificate of Completion
At any point, learners may revoke access to a publicly shared certificate. The award will become private again and the link will no longer be available. Saved links will cease to work once access is removed.
- First, locate the course within the "Completed Courses" section, tap the title and then select Go to Course.
- Next, tap the Certificate tab, locate the certificate that should be made public and then tap the Share link.
- At this point, learners will see the "Share My Award" pop-up. To remove the URL, tap the trash can (delete) icon in the lower right corner.
