Introduction:
Students enrolled in Essentials courses will complete their learning in the Buzz Learning Management System (LMS). This guide helps students understand how to navigate Buzz and access their course materials.

How to Get Started
- Students should log in to the Student Learning Portal (SLP).
- Click the Open Course button within the desired course tile.
Using the Top Navigation Bar
At the top of the Buzz homepage, students will see several helpful tabs:
- Courses: Displays tiles for all enrolled courses.
- To-Do List: Shows a list of upcoming or due activities (if available).
- Activity Stream: Provides a list of recent course notifications and updates.
Using the Left-Side Navigation Menu
Students can click the three horizontal lines in the upper left corner of the screen to open the Buzz menu.
This menu includes:
- Grades: View scores for completed assignments, quizzes, and activities.
- Notes: Access personal notes added within the course.
- Communication (Announcements): View messages or updates posted by instructors.
- Calendar: See important due dates and upcoming tasks.
- Course Name(s): Clicking on the course name will expand options to view Activities and Grades within that specific course.
- Help: Get support or find answers to common questions.
Opening a Course
To begin working in a course, students should tap the course tile shown on the main Courses page. This will open the course content, including lessons, quizzes, and assignments.
