Micro-credentials: Badge Awarding & Pathways

Intended Audience: Professional Learners/Educators


When a learner enrolls in a micro-credentialing experience that is part of a pathway, they will be automatically added as a member and receive an email notification. This article provides instructions on how to create and share Badgr Pathways.


  1. First, open the Badgr Pathway notification email and tap View Pathway to access the Badgr Pathways login page.
  2. Next, enter login credentials and tap Sign in Using Badgr.
    Learners without an existing account may follow the Create Badgr Account instructions.
  3. Then tap the Authorize button to allow the transfer of data between the account and pathway.
  4. At this point, the learner will receive a notification indicating that a badge has been awarded. Learners should return to view their process within Pathways.

    Badges earned may be part of other pathways. If a learner wishes to be added to that path, they will need to submit a request to be added. 
  5. Finally, choose to share the pathway with or without progress details by tapping the Copy button next to the link.
    If progress is included, it will always be up-to-date.
