EdReady Math and EdReady English Overview

Intended Audience: Parents/Guardians

Overview

Michigan Virtual, in collaboration with The NROC Project, continues to provide free access to EdReady Math and EdReady English for Michigan families during the current school year. These web-based programs support personalized learning and can be used for both enrichment and remediation.

Important: These are not an instructor-led courses, and enrollment should be completed through the EdReady website only.

EdReady Math

EdReady Math helps students build confidence and skills by creating a personalized learning plan based on their current knowledge. After taking a short diagnostic test, students receive a custom study path focused on the math concepts they need to strengthen for their next course or grade level. Each learning topic follows a consistent structure—starting with a Warm-Up and continuing through Presentation, Practice, Review, and Testing. Along the way, students have access to helpful resources like Khan Academy videos, interactive examples, and an embedded glossary. As students master each topic, their goal score increases, showing clear progress toward a target score of 100 and readiness for future success in math.

EdReady English

EdReady English helps students strengthen key language skills like reading comprehension, writing, grammar, and vocabulary—all essential for high school success and college readiness. After completing a short diagnostic test, students receive a personalized study path focused on the areas they need to improve. Each study path includes a series of engaging learning topics (typically 9–26 per goal) designed to build knowledge and confidence. As students master each topic, their goal score increases, showing clear progress toward a target score of 100 and readiness for their next level of English study.
