About
To ensure a smooth experience for students using EdReady, it is important that schools confirm device compatibility and support student account setup effectively. This article outlines the technical requirements and guidance on handling email verification issues.
Instruction
Technical Requirements
To access and use EdReady successfully, students must have:
- A computer or compatible device with internet access.
- Access to YouTube, as some instructional resources are hosted there.
- Google Chrome browser is strongly recommended for optimal compatibility and performance with the EdReady platform.
Account Verification Troubleshooting
When students create an EdReady account, they should receive a verification email shortly after registration. If the email does not appear within a few minutes:
- Students should check their Spam or Junk folder.
- If the email is still not found, the issue may be related to email domain restrictions.
Important: Some school-provided email domains may block external messages, including those from EdReady. In such cases, the school's Local IT department will need to allowlist or unblock messages from EdReady to ensure students can receive verification emails and other important communications.
Email Accounts
Each EdReady account is linked to the student’s email address. Students must use a unique email address that is not shared with others. Additionally, they must have immediate access to the email account used during registration in order to complete the account activation process successfully.
