In accordance with Section 21f of the State School Act, Content Vendors (third-party providers) are prohibited from creating course offerings for their proprietary online courses through Michigan's Online Course Catalog. Instead, they will assume the role of creating and managing course syllabi along with their respective reviews. Following this, they will enable partnering public school districts to create course offerings for their district within the Course Administration site with the use of a Vendor Syllabi Code.
Instruction
For a smooth import process, it is crucial to provide partnering districts with a Vendor Syllabi Code (Vendor Code). Content Vendors will acquire this code during the registration process and are responsible for distributing it to their partnering public school districts. Access to codes is not available directly through the Course Administration site. In the event of a forgotten code or the need for a change, please reach out to the system administratorfor assistance.
