Students will submit course assignments and view instructor feedback using the Brightspace Learning Management System (LMS). This article describes how to navigate these assignments. 


  1. First, within the Lessons page, tap a assignment tile (indicated by paper icon) to open.
    The Lessons page shows a unit expanded and an arrow points to the Untitled assignment.
  2. Next, review the assignment “Instructions” section.
  3. Then scroll down to the “Submissions” section to submit your assignment using one or more of the following options:
    • Upload. Choose to locate and attach a file from your computer.
      Note: Files should be 1 GB or less in size.
    • Record. Select this option to record and submit a video or audio file.
      Note: Video and audio files should be nor more than 3 minutes in length.
    • Choose Existing. Search notes to add a file.
      The Assignment is open with no submissions. The page shows the Upload, Record and Choose Existing buttons.
  4. After the assignment has been graded, tap the My Progress tab and then locate the assignment. Expand "Feedback" for the assignment to view instructor comments.
