My Progress

Introduction:

At any point, students have the ability to check how they are performing in their course. This article describes how a student will access the My Progress page within the Brightspace Learning Management System (LMS).

Details:

  1. First, access your course in the Student Learning Portal (SLP).
  2. Next, tap My Progress in the course level menu bar to review the Progress Summary page.
    Note: You may use the navigation menu on the left to quickly access any of the below sections.
    The course homepage is shown with an arrow pointing to My Progress in the top navbar.
    • Grades: This section provides grades received. Tap the Expand Grades Received drop-down (arrow) to view a list of the grades you have received to date.
    • Discussions: This section provides a count of posts you have read, threads you have created and replies you posted. Tap the Expand Posts Authored drop-down (arrow) to view a list of your active posts. Each topic is linked to easily access each thread.
    • Assignments: The Assignment section includes two expandable categories:
      • Graded Submissions, which allows you to view the grade you received on a submitted assignment.
      • Awaiting Grade, which displays the assignments you have submitted, but your instructor has not graded.
    • Quizzes: This section can be expanded to view both:
      • Quizzes Completed, which allows you to view the grade you received on a submitted quiz.
      • Attempts Awaiting Grade, which displays the quizzes you have submitted, but your instructor has not graded.
    • Course Access: View the number of times you have accessed your course and the date you last accessed it.
    • Login History: View the number of times you have logged into this course and the last date you accessed it.
      The progress summary page is displayed. On the left menu course details are shown with each selection above listed. On the right of the page grades, discussions and assignment progress is shown.
  3. Finally, locate the Print and Help icons in the upper right corner of any page mentioned above.
    • To print to create copy of the page:
      1. First, tap Print. At this point, the print preview will be displayed.
        Note: If you wish to adjust what is printed, tap Settings, adjust the print options and then select Save and Close.
      2. Finish by tapping Print at the bottom of the page.
