To begin participating in an online course, students must first access the Student Learning Portal (SLP). The steps outlined below explain how students can locate and open their course from the Dashboard.
Instruction
- Login to the Student Learning Portal (SLP). Once logged in, the Dashboard will appear, displaying course tiles, announcements, and certificates of completion (if available).
- Locate the course tile on the Dashboard.
- Click the Open Coursebutton beneath the desired course.
- If the Open Course button is missing, it may indicate the course has not yet started.
- Students should check the start and end dates listed below the instructor’s name for course availability.
- Once opened, the course will launch in a new browser tab within the assigned Learning Management System (LMS) such as:
- Brightspace
- Buzz
- EdReady
