Students may encounter issues launching courses from the Active Courses widget on the Student Learning Portal (SLP) dashboard if pop-up blocking is enabled in the Chrome browser. This guide explains how students can disable pop-up blocking to access their courses successfully.
Instruction
- Copy and paste the following into the Chrome address bar and press Enter:
chrome://settings/content/popups
- In the "Customized behaviors" section, tap the Add button next to "Allowed to send pop-ups and use redirects."
- In the "Add a Site" pop-up window, copy and paste the following URL into the Site field:
https://slp.michiganvirtual.org
- Tap the Add button to save the change.
- Close all Chrome browser windows and then reopen Chrome. Students should now be able to access their courses without issues.
