Associate Multiple Students to a Mentor

About

The Student Learning Portal (SLP) allows affiliation users to associate multiple students with a single mentor. This is a helpful feature for schools assigning one mentor to oversee a group of students. If needed, associations can be reversed using the Dissociate Multiple Students from a Mentor process.

Instruction

1. From the top menu bar in the Student Learning Portal, select the Students tab.
2. In the left-hand navigation menu, click on Bulk Association.
3. From the Affiliations dropdown field, select the appropriate school.
4. To view all students within the selected affiliation, click the Get Data button.
   Optional: To narrow results, use any of the 18 available filter fields before clicking Get Data.
   
5. In the results table check the box in the Select column next to each student to include. To select all students in the table, click the Check All box at the top of the column.
6. After selecting the students, click the Bulk Association button located at the bottom of the results table.
   

Assigning a Mentor

1. A pop-up window will appear.
2. In the Role field, select "MENTOR".
3. Then, choose the mentor who will be assigned to the selected students.
4. Click the Save button to complete the process. All selected students will now be associated with the chosen mentor.
