Certificates of Completion (K-12 Students)

Intended Audience: Students, Guardians

About

At the end of each term, the Student Learning Portal (SLP) will automatically generate a Certificate of Completion for every completed course. Each certificate includes:

  • The course name
  • The student’s final percentage score
  • The name of the instructor

It is important to understand that Michigan Virtual will not send certificates or transcripts to a student’s local school. If needed, students or their guardians are responsible for sharing the certificate with the school. The local school then decides how to assign a letter grade and whether to include the course on the student’s transcript.
