Districts or Intermediate School Districts (ISDs) that offered online courses under Section 21f during the previous school year must provide Michigan Virtual with two sets of data: a) the enrollment numbers for each online course they offered to students, and b) the number of enrollments where students earned at least 60% of the total course points for each online course. Districts and ISDs can either manually input this information directly into Michigan's Online Course Catalog by following the specified process, or they can request Michigan Virtual to upload the Performance Data on their behalf by submitting a request to MiCourses.
It is crucial that Performance Data is added to each course offering (excluding District Only offerings) by October 1st. This requirement is mandated by Section 21f(7)(c) for districts or ISDs that offered online courses during the immediately preceding school year.
Instruction
- First, select the Courses tab from the top navigation bar, then select the Edit button next to the course title in the "Name" column.
- Next, tap Performance Data from the left menu and then select the Add Performance Data button to include the School Year, Enrollment Count, Pass Count and/or Notes.
- At this point, enter the number of enrollments in the course of which you kept the 60-80% enrollment payment. If the course was offered during the preceding year, but there were no enrollments, please enter the number “0”.
- When finished, tap the Save button to apply changes.
