About
The responsibility of creating a syllabus lies with the districts as a requirement for offering online courses through Michigan's Online Course Catalog. The following process outlines how to add course syllabus details to make it accessible in local district and/or statewide catalogs.
It is important to note that the fields necessary to save the course syllabus are denoted with an asterisk (*).
Instruction
To get started, tap the New Course button on the top-right side of the homepage.
As a result, the New Course page will be shown which will contain five sections. Tap a link below to obtain additional information for each page.
- Course Information
- SCED Information
- Details
- Performance Data
- History - This tab will display the historical modifications made to the course syllabi along with the identity of the individuals who made these changes going forward.
When finished, continue to complete the Course Review.
