Details:
- First, from your Brightspace course, go to the Grades page.
- Next, locate the student you want to exempt assignments for and click the drop-down menu next to their name and then choose Bulk Edit Exemptions.
- At this point select all assignments that you want to exempt the student from.
Note: You can select assignments individually or in bulk using the Select/Unselect All button for each unit. - Finally, click Save and Close to apply changes.
Additional Information:
Exemptions in the Grade Book: Assignments that have been exempt in the Brightspace grade book will show up in a student's SLP grade book. However, they will not count towards a student's score. For more information on how students can view exemptions, see View Exempt Grade.
