In addition to the site of course access for students, the course tiles observed by students in the SLP can be a great place to get at-a-glance course information. This information includes the title of enrolled courses, the type of course (Michigan Virtual Teacher Provided or Collaborative Partner), the instructor assigned to the course, the term length for the course, the student’s current score, and access to the course’s pacing guide.

Michigan Virtual Teacher Provided Courses Taught by Michigan Virtual Instructors
For courses taught by local teachers as part of a Collaborative Partnership, some of this information is not available to be presented on the course tile. Because most collaborative courses are offered at year-long terms, the student’s score for these courses is calculated as points earned/points attempted. Collaborative courses will also not calculate the assignments needing to be completed as our collaborative instructors may add/delete assessments from their courses and this data would not update accurately on the course tile.
For Michigan Virtual Teacher Provided courses (courses taught by Michigan Virtual full-time and part-time instructors), additional information is available on the course tile. For these courses, students will also see an ‘Assignments’ bar indicating how many assignments the student has completed out of the total assignments in the course. For courses of this type, a student’s score will be calculated as points earned/total course points.
