Dashboard
When learners access the Professional Learning Portal (PLP), their personalized Dashboard is the default view. This Dashboard page includes access to active, completed, and pending course enrollments.
- Active Courses: Access courses that a learner has registered for but has not yet completed.
- Pending Courses: View courses that a learner has registered for but cannot access.
- Completed Courses: Learners may download a certificate of completion or return to the course. In addition, they also may view the Gradebook & Completion Status.
- Educators with a MOECS account seeking SCECH credits: Refer to SCECH: Course Completions & MOECS.
- Members of the Michigan Early Childhood and School-Age Workforce seeking CEUs: Refer to MiRegistry: Course Completions & CEUs.
Navigation
The left navigation menu offers convenient access to register for a course, unenroll from a course, view a list of MiRegistry courses, and edit account information. To explore these choices, click on the corresponding link below.
- Course Catalog: Find a course of interest, register, and purchase courses in the catalog.
- Request a Course Drop: Unenroll from a free course.
- MiRegistry Course List (if available): Review and/or authorize the transmission of course completion details to MiRegistry.
- Edit Account: Modify personal account information.
Sync Data
To perform a data sync with the LMS, click the “Sync Data” button located in the top-right corner of the page. The most recent sync time is also displayed. This feature helps ensure that course completions are updated and visible.
Logout
Learners have the freedom to leave the PLP at their convenience. To log out, tap the profile drop-down and choose the "Sign out" option.
