Knowing the course start and end dates is important for mentors and school personnel to effectively support students. Course dates may vary by term. This guide outlines how mentors and affiliation users can find these dates within the Student Learning Portal (SLP).
Important: Once a course ends, students will lose access to any incomplete assignments. Course extensions are available only to students who meet the requirements outlined in the Michigan Virtual Course Extension Policy.
Instruction
- In the top menu bar of the SLP, select the Enrollments tab.
- Search drop-down fields can be used to narrow results by student name, course title, or other available options.
- Tap the Get Data button to display a table of all active enrollment records.
- Find the student’s enrollment record in the table. The "StartDate" and "EndDate" columns will show the course start and end dates.
- If the StartDate and EndDate columns are not visible, select the "Customize columns" link at the top of the table.
