Change Password and Account Information


A guardian may need to update account information or change his or her password for security purposes. This process describes how to apply those changes for the Student Learning Portal (SLP).


  1. First, select Edit Account from the left navigation menu.
  2. Then verify the correct information is displayed in the Last Name, First Name, Email Address and Phone fields are correct.
    • If you make changes insert your password in the Current Password field and then tap the first Save button.
      Note: You will need to contact the Customer Care Center if you need to change your email address.
    • If you do not need to make adjustments to your profile, continue to the next step.
  3. Next, type your current password in the Old Password field.
  4. If your Secret Question and Secret Answer fields have not been set, type a question and response.
  5. Then insert a password in the New Password field.
  6. Next, retype the new password in the Confirm Password field.
  7. Finally, click the second Save button to apply the password change. You will then receive a message on the page indicating that your password has been reset successfully.
    The Edit Account page is divided into two sections. The first includes Last Name, First Name, Email Address, Phone and Current Password. Below is a Save button which will apply changes to those fields. The second section is Old Password, Security Question, Secret Answer, New Password and Confirm Password. Below is a Save button that will apply changes made to those fields. An arrow points to the second save button.
