Review Student Logs in the SLP

Intended Audience: Mentors, Affiliation Users 

About

Mentors and affiliation users may need to view information about a student's course enrollments and drops, including who performed the action and when it occurred. This guide explains how to access and review Student Logs in the Student Learning Portal (SLP) to retrieve this information.

Instruction

  1. From the top menu bar of the SLP, select the Students tab to view the list of active students.
  2. Find the appropriate student and tap the linked name in the "Student" column.
  3. On the student’s Main Page, select Student Log from the left navigation menu.
  4. Choose the Period and/or Type and then tap the Get Data button. 
  5. A table will be displayed showing:
    • Timestamp: The date and time the activity occurred.
    • User: The individual who performed the activity.
    • Description: Details about the activity, such as course enrollment or course drop.

  • Reviewing Student Logs helps mentors and affiliation users track important actions taken on a student's account.
  • This information can be helpful when verifying enrollment status or addressing questions from students, guardians, or school staff.
