Search for Courses in the SLP

Intended Audience: Mentors, Affiliation Users 

About

Mentors and affiliation users can use the Course Catalog in the Student Learning Portal (SLP) to find important course details, including prerequisites, required materials, course expectations, and academic standards. This guide outlines how to search and filter the Course Catalog to locate specific course information.

Instruction

  1. From the top menu bar of the SLP, tap the Course Catalog tab.
  2. To narrow down course results, mentors and affiliation users may use the filters to narrow results.
  3. After selecting the desired filters, tap the Apply Filter button to refresh and update the results displayed in the table.
  4. The results table will display key information about each course, including:
    • Course: Linked course name that, when selected, opens a new window with a detailed course description and syllabus.
    • When Offered: Indicates course availability by term.
    • Subject, Catalog, School Level, Instructor Provider, NCAA Approved, and Content Provider columns provide additional course details.
  5. After reviewing course information, affiliation users and mentors may continue to the enrollment process by following the Enroll Students in a Course guide.
