Change SLP Password

Intended Audience: Guardians 


A guardian may need to change their password for security purposes. This process describes how to change their password for the Student Learning Portal (SLP).


  1. First, login to the Student Learning Portal (SLP) using your current password.
  2. Next, tap Edit Account from the left navigation menu. 
    The Edit Account page is divided into two sections. The first includes Last Name, First Name, Email Address, Phone and Current Password. Below is a Save button which will apply changes to those fields. The second section is Old Password, Security Question, Secret Answer, New Password and Confirm Password. Below is a Save button that will apply changes made to those fields. An arrow points to the second save button.
  3. Next, type your current password in the Old Password field.
  4. Then insert a password in the New Password field.
  5. Next, retype the new password in the Confirm New Password field.
  6. Finally, click the second Change Password button to apply the password change. You will then receive a message on the page indicating that your password has been reset successfully.
