This article provides steps for mentors and affiliation users to reset a student's password if the student is unable to access the Student Learning Portal (SLP) due to forgotten login credentials.
Instruction
- In the top menu bar of the SLP, select the Students tab.
- In the list of active students, find the student and select the linked name in the "Student" column.
- The student’s Main Page will display, showing sections of information about the selected student.
- In the "Basic Information" section, tap the Reset Password button. After tapping Reset Password, a confirmation message will appear indicating that the password has been successfully reset.
- The new password will be shown within parentheses in the confirmation message.
- Tap the Sync with LMS button to ensure the student’s new password is updated across systems. Resetting and syncing the password ensures that students can log in seamlessly without delays.
- The new password will be automatically emailed to the student. Mentors or affiliation users may also provide the password directly to the student if necessary.
