Identify Students Missing a Mentor

Intended Audience: Affiliation Users

Introduction:

Identifying a local mentor is not only crucial for a student's success but is also mandatory according to the Michigan Department of Education's (MDE) Pupil Accounting Manual. Affiliation users can find students without an assigned mentor in various ways in the Student Learning Portal (SLP), as described in this document. It is important to note that if a mentor is not assigned within 48 hours of enrollment, Michigan Virtual will automatically assign the enroller as the mentor.
