Student Learning Portal Login

Intended Audience: Students, Guardians, Mentors, Affiliation Users 

About

The Student Learning Portal (SLP) is Michigan Virtual’s Student Information System (SIS). It serves as a central access point for students to reach their online courses and allows schools and educational staff to manage enrollment, monitor progress, and access essential student data.

Instruction

How to Log In

  1. Open a web browser and go to the Student Learning Portal (SLP).
  2. In the Email field, enter the student's, guardian's, or staff member’s email address.
  3. In the Password field, enter the associated account password.
  4. Click or tap the Sign In button to open the SLP Dashboard.
    The Student Learning Portal website login page is shown to include the fields mentioned above. The Sign me in and Create account buttons are displayed below. Under the buttons are the forgot password or username link and a Contact Us via email link.

Resetting a Forgotten Password

If a student has forgotten their login credentials, click the “Forgot your login and/or Password?” link located below the Sign In button. This process will guide the student through resetting the password via email verification.

New User Registration Options

For those accessing the Student Learning Portal for the first time:

  • Guardians should select the New Parent/Guardian Registration button to create an account.
  • School staff or affiliation users should click the New Affiliation User? button to register with school-level access.
