About
When a student graduates or departs from a school, it is necessary to update the student’s profile in the Student Learning Portal (SLP) by changing the status to Alumni. This ensures the student’s data is removed from current student records and prevents further course enrollments. Students must not be deleted from the SLP, as historical course information may be needed later. This article outlines the steps for changing the status for a single student. For guidance on updating multiple students at once, refer to the Change Multiple Students to Alumni Status article.

- Select the MySLP tab located in the top menu bar and then select Global Search from the left menu.
- Enter the student ID in the Search Query field and then tap the Find button.
- Select the linked student name from the search results to access the student’s profile.
