Affiliation/Mentor Determine Course LMS for Student

Introduction: 

Michigan Virtual employs different Learning Management Systems (LMS) to deliver course content. To access information like progress, current grades, etc., a mentor or affiliation user may need to identify the LMS assigned to a student's course. The process of locating this information within the Student Learning Portal (SLP) is explained in this article.

Details: 

1. Begin by logging into the Student Learning Portal.
2. Next, tap the Students tab in the top menu bar.
3. Then select the linked name of the student you would like to view progress for.
   
4. As a result, the Basic Information page will be displayed. Locate the LMSIDs area to find the table containing LMS platforms being utilized.
   
5. Next, open the LMS to view student progress.
   1. Start by tapping the MySLP tab in the top menu bar.
   2. Then select Go to Courses from the left menu.
   3. At this point, you will need to tap the appropriate icon to the left of the appropriate LMS option to open the course.
